Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch plans mid-billing cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you'll be prorated for the remainder of your cycle. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing period so you don't lose access to Pro or Enterprise features mid-month.
What happens after my 14-day Pro trial?
Your trial auto-converts to a paid $12 / month subscription unless you cancel before day 14. No credit card is required to start the trial, but you'll need to add one before the trial expires to keep access.
Does the Enterprise API cover historical patch data?
Yes. All Enterprise accounts get full read access to our archive dating back to January 2021 — roughly 48,000 patch notes across 1,200+ titles. Historical data is included in your monthly request quota.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Absolutely. Cancel from your account dashboard in two clicks. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't do lock-in contracts or early-termination fees.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits, education, or esports orgs?
Yes. Registered nonprofits, accredited universities, and WESG-sanctioned esports teams qualify for a 40 % discount on Pro and Enterprise plans. Contact our sales team at sales@patchpulse.io with proof of eligibility.
How fast are patch alerts delivered?
For Pro and Enterprise users, alerts fire within 60–90 seconds of a patch note being published on the source platform (SteamDB, developer blogs, store pages). Scout email digests compile overnight and deliver at 09:00 UTC.
